While at the University of Southampton, I took a course in Computer Graphics. The coursework was to create a small 3D world based on The Clangers, a 1970s BBC children’s program starring whistling rodents living on a small rock in space.

I used Blender to create the 3D models, which were then loaded into a C and OpenGL program as Wavefront OBJ files. The demo has a free-flying mode to let the user explore the scene, and a preset action sequence shown in the video above. The source code is available on GitHub.
